Even though the Lord started speaking to us about the direction of the Nation in April 2022 as per His intention for the nation toward the end-time harvest;

Even though at last thursday’s prayer meeting we were given some insight into the sequence of events that we see transpiring now;

Even so, the disappointment and irritation i felt at the brazenness of the wicked was palpable last night! Many of you felt the same way.

As i woke up this morning, this is the scripture that was given to me to draw encouragement from Zech 3:9c

For behold the stone that I have laid before Joshua; upon one stone shall be seven eyes: behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.

We have been repenting of iniquity and bloodshed on behalf of the land. So His response makes sense; remembering the double edged sword brings mercy/restoration on one side and judgement of the wicked on the other.

Meditate on these 5 scriptures and draw strength.

We know that His timings and His ways are not our ways, and sometimes His judgement does seem to be prolonged, Yet He will not be late! So draw encouragement.

  1. The Lord still reigns in the affairs of men.
    Daniel 4:17
    “The sentence is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones; to the intent that the living may know that the Most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the lowest of men“.
  2. The Lord Still has plans for this nation, and it will not be thwarted.
    Job 42:2 “I know that you can do all things; no purpose of yours can be thwarted“.
  1. Even the boastings of the beasts is allowed by the Lord and precedes judgement, for their dominion shall be taken away!
    Daniel 7:11-12
    11 “I watched then because of the sound of the [f]pompous words which the horn was speaking; I watched till the beast was slain, and its body destroyed and given to the burning flame.
     12 As for the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away, yet their lives were prolonged for a season and a time.
  1. The Prosperity of the wicked lasts but only for a moment.
    Psalm 73:1-20
    16 When I thought to know this, it was too painful for me;
    17 Until I went into the sanctuary of God; then understood I their end.
    18 Surely thou didst set them in slippery places: thou castedst them down into destruction.
    19 How are they brought into desolation, as in a moment! they are utterly consumed with terrors.
    20 As a dream when one awaketh; so, O Lord, when thou awakest, thou shalt despise their image.
  1. Righteousness and Justice are still the foundations of His throne.
    Psalm 89:14
    Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne; Mercy and truth go before Your face.
  • So take heart, encourage yourself in the Lord,
  • Keep interceding being open minded to the Lord’s vision not your projections..
  • Guard your heart with the peace of the Lord.
  • Guard your utterances

Remember His rebuke last week about the people of this nation not learning their lessons and trusting their salvation in the coming of a man! This is not about any particular man…He will bring forth HIS JOSHUA in due course...May His perfect will be done.
