True Kingdom building starts with a “mindset”. Though many are called, only minds set on “thy kingdom come,” will be enlisted into building the city not made with men’s hands.

Discipleship Key Notes.

1. “SO BUILT WE”

  • There is no “I” . It is “WE”. Yes 1 man is 1st called & sent; but in the context of being ‘first among brethren’.
  • When ‘I’ remains paramount, then ‘founder(s) eventually become confounded by their own graven image’ Jer 10:14
  • It is always a collective of men – who all individually come to know what is at stake!!!

2. “ALL THE WALL WAS JOINED TOGETHER”

  • It is a communal effort! No one builds in Isolation! Apostle Paul said in 1 Cor 3:10c “I have laid the foundation; and another buildeth thereon”. Your lot must join another’s on the left and on the right! & when the Plumbline is laid on it, it must align on both sides.
  • It is not about competition or individual pursuits; it must be Kingdom! Where every man gives his quota according to the measure of Christs gift to them Eph 4:7. “My…” must give way for “His….” (For thine is the Kingdom)
  • Individual sacrifice & Obedience ignited by the spirit becomes a force multiplier in the collective; thus 2 will put 10,000 to flight.

3. “A MIND TO WORK”

  • It is not about human efforts to force Unity. It is about every man “letting this mind be in you as also was in Christ Jesus” Phil 2:5
  • It is in Christ’s body we find individual expression being woven into the whole by the Spirit.

Personal Reflection:

  • Have i been enlisted? By whom & for what?
  • Building personal empire or advancing the Heavenly Vision?
  • Is my lot connected to others?
  • When my lot is subjected to the “plumbline”, does it align?
